1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and any services, programs, memberships, coaching, or content offered by Soulful You (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing this website or purchasing any services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use this site or services.

2. Scope of Services

Soulful You provides:

  • Coaching services (1:1 and group)

  • Membership-based community spaces

  • Educational content

  • Workshops, rituals, and digital resources

  • Community spaces hosted on third-party platforms (e.g. Discord)

All services are non-clinical, non-medical, and non-diagnostic.

3. Not Therapy or Medical Care

Our services are not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical treatment, psychiatric care, or crisis support.

By participating, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for your own mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing

  • Coaching is not therapy

  • No diagnoses, treatment plans, or medical advice are provided

If you are experiencing acute distress, suicidal ideation, or a mental health crisis, please seek immediate professional or emergency support.

4. Client Responsibility & Consent

By engaging in our services, you confirm that:

  • You are participating voluntarily

  • You take full responsibility for your choices, actions, and outcomes

  • You understand that growth and healing may involve emotional discomfort

  • You will seek outside professional support when needed

Participation is always consent-based, and you may pause or disengage at any time.

5. Community Guidelines

Any community spaces (including Discord) are governed by shared values of:

  • Respect

  • Consent

  • Confidentiality

  • Non-harassment

  • Non-proselytizing

We reserve the right to remove participants who engage in harmful, disruptive, or unsafe behaviour without refund.

6. Payments, Refunds & Cancellations

Payments

  • All prices are listed in the applicable currency at checkout

  • Payment plans must be completed in full

  • Failure to complete payments may result in loss of access

Refunds

Due to the relational and digital nature of our services:

  • All sales are final unless otherwise stated

  • Memberships may be canceled to stop future billing but are not refunded retroactively

  • Coaching and group programs are non-refundable once started

7. Intellectual Property

All content provided through this website, programs, emails, and community spaces is the intellectual property of Soulful You.

You may not:

  • Reproduce

  • Redistribute

  • Sell

  • Teach

  • Share recordings or materials publicly

Personal use only unless written permission is granted.

8. Confidentiality

We honour confidentiality within coaching and community spaces; however:

  • Confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in group or online settings

  • You are responsible for maintaining the privacy of others’ shared experiences

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Soulful You is not liable for any direct or indirect damages

  • Participation is at your own risk

  • No guarantees are made regarding outcomes or results

10. Third-Party Platforms

We use third-party tools (Squarespace, Discord, email providers, payment processors). We are not responsible for their policies, outages, or security practices.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, and where applicable, the Province of Nova Scotia.
